The Opportunity Ford and Stanley are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join a maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a globally recognised rail engineering business, starting with 3-4 months of training in Doncaster before transitioning to Barton Under Needwood on a permanent basis.The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, overhaul, and inspection of freight wagons, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability.This role would suit candidates from rail, rolling stock, heavy engineering, HGV, automotive, plant, military, manufacturing, or similar mechanical backgrounds.
