About the Role

Based in Montrose, this permanent Mechanical Fitter position offers a salary of £40,000 to £48,000 per annum. The successful candidate will assemble and test subsea equipment within a manufacturing setting, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards. Core duties include interpreting engineering drawings, building and testing mechanical components, supporting safety and quality procedures, and identifying or reporting faults and defects. Applicants should hold a mechanical apprenticeship or engineering qualification, with proven experience in mechanical assembly; subsea background is advantageous. The ability to read technical drawings and a solid understanding of health and safety are essential. Working hours follow a standard full-time pattern, typically Monday to Friday.
