Mechanical Fitter

Job description Multi-skilled Maintenance Fitter. Location: Ruabon Job Summary Reporting to the Production Manager, duties to include preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as well as responding to emergency machine break downs throughout the plant. Overhaul and repair of machines and equipment on site ensuring that they are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose. Key Responsibilities: Preventative and reactive maintenance of all manufacturing machinery Overhaul, upkeep and repair of all mechanical and pneumatic machinery, fault finding, testing, removal and/or adjustments of existing fixtures and fittings Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard Produce and maintain jigs and fixtures to engineering drawings Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and providing excellent customer care in an efficient manner. Reliability and dependability essential with adaptability to a fast paced environment. Time management and communication skills essential, ability to work on own incentive, log work and report any issues to Production Manager. Time served in repair and maintenance, knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics. Experience and working knowledge of air tools, compressors, electrical (tools and equipment) Starting at £45k per year to be reviewed after 3 months.
