A well-established engineering organisation operating within the UK water and environmental sector is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join its growing team. This company delivers specialist engineering services across infrastructure and environmental sites and is investing heavily in future projects. • Location: Oxford or Twickenham

• Salary: -20 - -21 per hour

• Working hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

• Position: Permanent PAYE position

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems

• Working extensively on pumps, pipework, valves, and associated equipment

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, as well as supporting reactive and emergency works

• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards

Requirements

• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification

• On-site mechanical engineering experience with strong knowledge of pumps, motors, and pipework

• Valid CSCS card or equivalent

• Additional tickets are beneficial but not essential (EUSR, IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS, Abrasive Wheels)

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and good communication skills
