Mechanical Fitter

As a Mechanical Fitter you will be required to carry out installation works on stainless steel industrial FMCG machinery for a food processing plant.

Duties will include:

• 
  General maintenance work in a food production environment
• 
  Pump overhaul
• 
  Valves overhaul
• 
  Breakdown repairs
• 
  Conveyor works
• 
  Gearbox works
• 
  Guarding modifications
• 
  Preventative maintenance work
• 
  Reactive maintenance work within normal working day
• 
  Some TIG welding experience preferred
• 
  40-50 hours per week
• 
  Approx 13 weeks work

Applicants must hold a recognised NVQ,City & Guilds or apprenticeship certificate to be considered for this role.

Working hours will be approx.:
07:30am -17:30pm - 10hrs paid
