Mechanical Fitter – Marine & Industrial Engineering
Salary: £15.00 – £18.50 per hour (Overtime: Time and a Half & Double Time Available)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00

About the Role:
Due to continued growth, Mechanical Fitter Repair Services is seeking experienced Marine & Industrial Fitters/Turners to join our skilled team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong mechanical background to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform turning and machining using lathes, mills, and pillar drills
• Work on gearboxes, electric motors, pumps, and engines
• Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance in a workshop environment
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical documents
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and safety compliance

Requirements:

• Proven experience in mechanical fitting or a similar engineering role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Hands-on experience with workshop tools and machinery
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
