A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Machinist / Mechanical Fitter for a company in the Gloucester Area that build a variety of special purpose machinery.

With no day ever being the same the Mechanical Fitter role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and align mechanical equipment.

• Maintain and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems (pumps, valves, cylinders, actuators, compressors).

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals.

• Troubleshoot faults and replace defective parts.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems and controls.

• Precision fitting and use of tools/equipment.

• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.

• To keep your work areas clean and tidy.

• Other duties within the company as required

Package and Benefits:

• -40,000 + OTE
• 25 days + Banks, 35 hours, Mon-Fri
• Exciting Progression Opportunities
