We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our client''s team in Gateshead. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background and a passion for precision engineering. You will be involved in assembling a wide range of mechanical components and systems, supporting both production and service teams.

• Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and schematics.
• Assemble small and large sub-assemblies with precision and care.
• Build complete products from kits of parts, ensuring quality and functionality.
• Provide technical support to service teams.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with Health & Safety standards.

• Time-served Mechanical Fitter.
• Strong technical ability and mechanical aptitude.
• Proven experience working with engineering drawings and mechanical builds.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally when required.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with a proactive and flexible approach.
