Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter required for work on various sites around the Northwest.

You will service various Environment agency sites across the region providing service for the upgrading of the MEICA systems.

The main depot is located in Warrington , so you will be based locally ideally.

This role covers the entire Northwest region, so will involve a lot of driving to various sites across the region.

A vehicle with a fuel card will be provided

Required Skills include working on.

andbull; Process control 4-20mA 0-10V
andbull; Control panel Fault Finding, pump starter, thermistors, magnetic, earth leakage. Relays, safety relays, Pilz relays, contactor rating AC DC.
andbull; Level sensors calibration.
andbull; Knowledge of electric actuators (settings, torque, overload etc.)
andbull; Wier tilt gates,
andbull; Pumps types, vertical drive, submersible etc.
andbull; Pump, impellor, bearing, trust bearings, seals, dry and wet types.
andbull; VSDandrsquo;s, Starting currents, Torque setting, Ramps.
andbull; Cable Testing (iR, R1+R, Zs etc.)
andbull; Making off and glanding, SWAandrsquo;s. PWA.
andbull; Cable type SWA, LSF, PVC, XLPE, H07RNF and application.
andbull; Earthing, functional earth.
andbull; Gland Ratings CW, EW etc.

Desirable:
andbull; Hydraulic circuit, systems. Pump, cylinders, valve (solenoids).
andbull; Signal isolators ICA interface
andbull; Experience of Rotork actuators
andbull; PLC programming
andbull; VSD drive settings
andbull; Generators G59 deapsea etc.
andbull; Pump, impellor material selection.

This role is an ongoing freelance/temporary role and is deemed inside IR35, so weekly wages are paid via the PAYE Umbrella system.
