As a Mechanical Fitter you will:Assemble and build material testing machines, mechanical and pneumatic grips and other precise instruments, mechanically fitting parts including wiring looms and electronic looms and electronic displays.Be competent in the use of Pillar Drill, Manual Lathe and other tool room equipment.Complete paperwork i.e. works orders etc.Assist in annual stock count.Ensure targets are met.Ensure parts are collated, fitted and adapted where necessary to equipment ready for testing.Report to Supervisor any changes to drawings to ensure full records are kept.Monitor and check quality assurance of products being checked.We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter who has the following skills and experience:Apprentice trained time served, NVQ / HNC / HND / in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline.Close tolerance assembly skills in a machine build environment.Competent with machine shop precision ...
