As a Mechanical Fitter you will: - Assemble and build material testing machines, mechanical and pneumatic grips and other precise instruments, mechanically fitting parts including wiring looms and electronic looms and electronic displays. - Be competent in the use of Pillar Drill, Manual Lathe and other tool room equipment. - Complete paperwork i.e. works orders etc. - Assist in annual stock count. - Ensure targets are met. - Ensure parts are collated, fitted and adapted where necessary to equipment ready for testing. - Report to Supervisor any changes to drawings to ensure full records are kept. - Monitor and check quality assurance of products being checked.   We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter who has the following skills and experience: - Apprentice trained time served, NVQ / HNC / HND / in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline. - Close tolerance assembly skills in a machine build ...
