The Role You will assemble, fit and test heavy machinery, working with mechanical and hydraulic systems. Key Responsibilities: Assemble crushing and screening equipment. Install hydraulic systems, pipework, pumps, valves and cylinders. Fit engines, gearboxes and conveyors. Read engineering drawings and assembly instructions. Carry out testing and mechanical fault finding. Use hand and power tools. Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship. Keep the workshop clean, tidy and safe. Requirements Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Plant Fitter or Machinery Fitter. Experience with heavy machinery, construction, agricultural or similar equipment.
