Assembly Mechanical Fitter Location: West Yorkshire Shift: Mon-Thurs (Lates) 14:15pm-12:30am Salary: £38,387.00- £43,857.00 per annumDue to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Assembly Mechanical Fitter to join their production team.As an Assembly Mechanical Fitter, your key duties will include: Reading and working from technical engineering drawingsAssembling bespoke mechanical components and machine sectionsBuilding and installing pneumatic and general pipework systemsChecking parts against bill of materials (BOMs) for accuracy and conditionCarrying out quality inspections to ensure assemblies meet required tolerancesHandling and moving large components using lifting equipment and overhead cranesEnsuring all work is completed within production timescalesFollowing health and safety procedures and company processes at all times The successful Assembly Mechanical Fitter will have the following attributes: Completed a Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship / NVQ (or equivalent)Minimum 5 years experience in a similar mechanical fitting roleStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience working with large assemblies and tight tolerancesConfident using a wide range of hand and air toolsUnderstanding of health and safety and quality standardsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamGood attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlinesComfortable working at height and in confined spacesMIG welding ..... full job details .....
