As an Assembly Mechanical Fitter, your key duties will include: Reading and working from technical engineering drawings Assembling bespoke mechanical components and machine sections Building and installing pneumatic and general pipework systems Checking parts against bill of materials (BOMs) for accuracy and condition Carrying out quality inspections to ensure assemblies meet required tolerances Handling and moving large components using lifting equipment and overhead cranes Ensuring all work is completed within production timescales Following health & safety procedures and company processes at all times The successful Assembly Mechanical Fitter will have the following attributes: Completed a Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship / NVQ (or equivalent) Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar mechanical fitting role Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience w...
