Do you have hands-on experience working with electrical panels and switchgear? We''re looking for a skilled Switchgear Panel Assembler / Fitter to join a busy Data centre project in Slough, helping to assemble critical switchgear and switchboard panels within a state-of-the-art data centre in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid mechanical background who is comfortable working to precise specifications in a dynamic environment. What You''ll Be Doing: Accurately assembling and fitting switchgear and switchboard panels according to technical drawings and specifications. Utilising a wide range of hand and power tools to ensure precise and high-quality assembly. Working collaboratively within a data centre environment, adhering to all safety protocols and site-specific procedures. Conducting quality checks on assembled panels to ensure they meet required standards. What We''re Looking For: Proven experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, or panel building, ideally within an electrical or manufacturing setting. Familiarity with assembling switchgear, switchboards, or electrical panels is highly advantageous. Proficiency with a variety of hand tools, including spanners, ratchets, screwdrivers, hammers, files, pipe grips, and more.
