You''ll be assembling and fitting high-quality stainless steel equipment used in the food processing industry, both in-house and occasionally on client sites.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and fit mechanical components to a high standardWork from engineering drawings with precisionBuild and fit: Mechanical motors (strip/rebuild), Air pneumatics, Bearing housings, Hydraulic systemsUse a variety of hand tools and mechanical equipmentMaintain high standards of housekeeping and safetyFollow company procedures and health and safety protocolsOccasionally work on-site as requiredRequirementsProven experience in mechanical fitting and assemblyStrong understanding of engineering drawingsSkilled in pneumatics, hydraulics, and special-purpose machineryProficient with hand tools and mechanical equipmentCity and Guilds in Engineering or equivalent experience preferredMust supply own basic hand tools (specialist tools provided)Working HoursMonday: 7:30am - 4:00pmTuesday: 7:30am - 4:30pmWednesday-Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pmFriday: 7:30am - 12:00pm (overtime available) ..... full job details .....
