Job Title:-Mechanical Estimator
Location:-London
Salary:80,000 per annum (DOE)

The Role:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for Mechanical Building Services projects.

• Pricing MEP tenders with values up to -15 million.

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

• Producing enquiries for suppliers and specialist subcontract packages.

• Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.

• Identifying value engineering opportunities and commercial risks.

• Liaising with clients, consultants and the supply chain to produce competitive tenders.

• Working closely with the pre-construction team to ensure timely tender submissions.

• Attending site visits and tender meetings where required.

• Supporting project handovers following successful tenders.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the Building Services industry.

• Experience working for a Mechanical or M&E Contractor.

• Experience pricing commercial Mechanical projects.

• Trimble Estimation software experience is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing and mechanical building services.

• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Able to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines.
