Mechanical Estimator - Position Overview Manage the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission. Analyse tender drawings, specifications and contract documentation to establish project requirements and commercial risks. Undertake detailed take-offs, prepare bills of quantities and build up rates for labour, plant and materials. Manage supply chain enquiries, obtaining and analysing competitive quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
