Mechanical Estimator - New Build

Hygrove Partners are recruiting a Mechanical Estimator on behalf of one of the fastest-growing, most modern and exciting construction firms in the UK, delivering mechanical and renewable installations across new build and social housing developments. The Role: Producing accurate, competitive mechanical estimates for new build residential developments and social housing contracts, from tender enquiry through to handover to the delivery team. Key Responsibilities: Pricing mechanical packages including heating, plumbing, ventilation (MVHR) and air source heat pumps Carrying out take-offs from drawings and specifications Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations Preparing tender submissions, cost plans and value engineering options Working closely with the bid, commercial and operations teams Attending tender and client meetings where required What We''re Looking For: Proven mechanical estimating experience, ideally within new build residential or social housing Strong knowledge of domestic heating, plumbing and low-carbon technologies Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail Confident using estimating software and Excel Own transport What''s on Offer: £50,000 per annum A genuine opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding business ..... full job details .....
