Mechanical Estimator Design and Build MEP Contractor Location: London Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Sector: Mechanical / MEP / Building Services We are working with a well-established Design and Build MEP contractor who are looking to bring an experienced Mechanical Estimator into their team. The company delivers a range of high-quality commercial, residential and fit-out projects, and this is a great opportunity for an Estimator looking to join a growing business with a strong project pipeline. The Role As Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates from initial enquiry through to tender submission, working closely with the pre-construction and commercial teams. Key responsibilities include: Preparing detailed mechanical estimates and tenders Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation Producing accurate take-offs and bills of quantities Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations Pricing labour, materials, plant and subcontract packages Identifying project risks, exclusions and opportunities Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors Supporting the pre-construction team through the tender process Assisting with handover to the delivery team following successful tenders About You We are looking for someone with a strong background in mechanical estimating within the MEP / building services sector.
