This role is essential in ensuring tender submissions are commercially competitive and technically robust. Key Responsibilities Interpret mechanical design information to produce accurate cost assessments. Prepare detailed take-offs and bills of quantities. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations. Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternative materials or methodologies. Participate in tender review meetings and support bid submissions. Update cost databases and maintain estimating tools to ensure accurate future pricing.
