Working across a varied portfolio of projects including commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, residential and heritage , you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive mechanical estimates from initial enquiry through to tender submission. The Role Prepare detailed mechanical estimates from drawings, specifications and tender documents. Complete take-offs for HVAC, heating, domestic water services, public health, process pipework and specialist mechanical installations. Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations. Produce accurate cost plans using estimating software and Microsoft Excel. Identify value engineering opportunities, risks and tender exclusions.
