A well-established and growing mechanical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their commercial team.
The business has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical packages across commercial construction projects, typically valued £5m+, working with a strong portfolio of high-end clients and repeat business.

The Role

• Preparing detailed mechanical estimates and cost plans for commercial construction projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Producing accurate take-offs and pricing mechanical packages
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
• Working closely with the commercial and project teams throughout the tender process

Requirements

• Proven experience estimating mechanical packages within the construction sector
• Strong understanding of commercial project delivery
• Ability to review technical drawings and specifications
• Experience pricing projects £5m+ in value is desirable
• Strong communication and organisational skills
