Mechanical EstimatorLocation: Flexible Salary: Up to 60,000 + 5,000 Car Allowance Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Contract: PermanentThe OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a well-established and rapidly growing MandE contractor specialising in commercial fit-out, retail, refurbishment and installation projects across the UK. Operating nationwide, the business delivers complete mechanical and electrical solutions from concept through to completion, working with some of the UK''s best-known commercial and retail clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their pre-construction team with the addition of a commercially minded Mechanical Estimator. This is a hybrid role based from the Castleford office, with occasional travel and overnight stays required to support projects and client meetings.The RoleAs a Mechanical Estimator, you''ll play a key role in securing new business by producing accurate, competitive and commercially viable estimates for a variety of mechanical installation projects. Working closely with the wider pre-construction and operational teams, you''ll ensure tenders are submitted to the highest standard whilst identifying opportunities to maximise project value.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed mechanical estimates, material take-offs and cost plans.Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor ..... full job details .....
