Mechanical Estiamtor

Our Client is a well run and expanding M+E Contractor whom are looking for a experienced Mechanical Estimator to help deliver a long term framework of construction based new build and refurbishment projects in the commercial, residential, care home and government sectors. Project typically -1million to -15 million. This is genuinely great place to work with excellent working environment.

The ideal candidate will already be working in a similar estimating role on the mechanical side. This is an exceptional role with an exciting company and not just about pricing but meeting clients and stakeholders on a regular basis.

As an Estimator you will have strong process driven experience, and take responsibility for:

• Preparation of detailed mechanical estimates across a range of projects
• Take-offs and pricing for HVAC, pipework, plant, and associated mechanical services
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Creating cost plans, value engineering options, and tender submissions.
• Helping with project bids.
• Helping manage Quality delivery.

About You

• Good experience as a Mechanical Estimator within building services or M&E contracting
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and installation methods
• Experience of working with drawings, specifications, and estimating software
