Mechanical Design EngineerBristol - hybrid working£38,000 - £43,000 (plus bonus and benefits) Several Mechanical Design Engineers are wanted on a permanent basis by a global Engineering client of ours who is at the forefront of their industry. In this role, the successful candidate will ultimately be responsible for the execution of design solutions within a multi-discipline engineering team, supporting product development for the company. This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between £38,000 - £43,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications plus bonuses and benefits.Overview of the Mechanical Design Engineer role:Verify that the designs meet the requirements and conform to the relevant design standards by calculation and/or testing as appropriate.Be accountable for the design and development of sub-assemblies of a product ensuring the specified quality and cost are achieved to the agreed task time scale.Accountable for the detailed documentation of the design (models, drawings, design data, BOM, test data) ensuring all relevant information is recorded in a timely manner in accordance.Key skills required for the Mechanical Design Engineer role:A solid Mechanically biased engineering degree (or other relevant engineering qualification with a few years post-graduation industry experience).Previous experience in product development as well as design for manufacture/design for assembly.Experience in the use of a range of engineering materials and ..... full job details .....
