BTEC/HNC Mechanical Engineering Tutor Southampton Up to £40,000 + benefits Boston Rose are working with a specialist engineering training provider in Southampton to recruit a BTEC/HNC Mechanical Engineering Tutor. This role is ideal for an experienced Mechanical Engineering Lecturer who has delivered BTEC Level 3 and HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering programmes and is confident teaching higher-level engineering theory to apprentices and adult learners. You''ll be delivering a range of Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Mathematics units, supporting learners from Level 3 through to Level 4 and helping them achieve outstanding outcomes. The role involves lesson delivery, assessment, learner progress monitoring and curriculum development. What we''re looking for: Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering Level 5 Teaching Qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS or equivalent) Experience delivering BTEC Mechanical Engineering programmes Experience teaching HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering units Strong knowledge of subjects such as: Engineering Mathematics Mechanical Principles Engineering Design Engineering Science Engineering Projects Excellent communication and organisational skills The package: Salary up to £40,000 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Company pension scheme Life insurance Monday to Thursday 8:00am 4:15pm Friday 8:00am 3:05pm Please note that this position requires previous teaching experience within Further Education or Higher ..... full job details .....
