In this role, you will ensure that all mechanical plant and equipment across a diverse property portfolio are safe, reliable, and compliant with statutory requirements. You''ll play a key part in maintaining high standards for planned maintenance and inspections, while supporting day-to-day operations and collaborating with colleagues on estate-wide activities. Key Responsibilities Oversee mechanical engineering works within your designated area, supporting other zones as needed.Prioritise and manage reactive and planned maintenance requests, liaising with departments to agree on specific works.Ensure statutory maintenance is completed on time (e.g., pressure systems, boiler servicing, LEVs) and maintain accurate records.Issue instructions for maintenance works to internal teams or external contractors, ensuring compliance with legislation, health and safety standards, and organisational procedures.Manage technical staff and contractors, inspecting works for quality, specification, and budget adherence.Deliver minor project works, including preparing design briefs, specifications, tender documents, and supervising installations through to commissioning.Process orders and invoices, ensuring value for money and adherence to budgetary controls.Maintain ..... full job details .....
