This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Mechanical Engineering Lecturers or industry professionals looking to move into education on a flexible basis.The RoleAs an Mechanical Engineering Lecturer, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons, supporting learners across a range of engineering disciplines to develop the skills and knowledge required for further study or careers in the sector.Key responsibilities include:Delivering Engineering lessons (BTEC / City and Guilds / NVQ)Teaching across areas such as mechanical, pneumatics, CAD, thermos fluids etc.Supporting practical workshop sessions and demonstrationsPreparing learners for assessments, coursework, and examsMonitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedbackPromoting health and safety within workshop environmentsCreating an inclusive and supportive learning environmentWhat We''re Looking ForEssential:Industry experience within Mechanical EngineeringRelevant engineering qualification (Level 3 or above)Teaching experience or willingness to move into educationStrong practical and communication skillsAbility to engage and support post-16 learnersEnhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)Desirable:Teaching qualification ..... full job details .....
