for a full-time, permanent role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified mechanical engineering professional to step into or continue their journey in education, helping to train and inspire the next generation of engineers.

The Role

As a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer, you''ll be delivering and assessing a variety of engineering courses from Level 1 to Level 3. You''ll be working with both 16-18-year-olds and adult learners across full-time study programmes and apprenticeship routes.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching in Mechanical EngineeringAssess student progress and provide constructive feedback in line with awarding body requirementsSupport learners in developing both theoretical knowledge and practical skillsContribute to curriculum planning, development, and ongoing improvementMaintain accurate records of learner achievement and progressionWhat We''re Looking For

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE, or equivalent)An assessing qualification (or willingness to work towards one)A strong background in Mechanical Engineering (e.g. maintenance, design, manufacturing, or CAD)Experience teaching or mentoring within an education or training setting (desirable)Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skillsWhy Join?
