Mechanical Engineering Instructor
Our client, a rapidly expanding Group Training Association within the engineering education sector, is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Instructor. This position is based at the training centre in Hull, offering a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality apprenticeship and commercial training.Key Responsibilities:Delivering apprenticeship and adult skills training to company standardsCreating a positive and engaging learning environment for apprenticesEnsuring all training meets Health and Safety guidelinesProviding feedback and support to apprenticesMaintaining accurate records of learners'' progress and achievementsJob Requirements:Experience in mechanical planned and reactive maintenanceProficiency in lathe and milling machine operationSafe use of hand toolsKnowledge of hydraulics or pneumaticsUnderstanding of Health and Safety practices and proceduresA minimum of a Level 3 Engineering qualificationGood interpersonal and computer skillsFull driving licenceA working knowledge of the chemical process industry and/or CAD is desirable but not essential. Although assessor and teaching qualifications are desirable, full support will be provided to develop necessary skills.Benefits:42 days annual leave (including bank holidays), with 7 days reserved for the Christmas shutdownRegular working hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 16:15 and Friday 8:00 - 16:00Annual bonus dependent on organisational performancePension scheme with 5% employee contribution and 7% employer ..... full job details .....
