Mechanical Engineer

The Opportunity We are working with an established Tier 1 Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health contractor that is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join its London team. The business delivers major MandE packages across high-profile residential and commercial developments and is continuing to strengthen its engineering and project delivery teams. This position would suit a Mechanical Engineer who has gained strong experience working for an MandE contractor and is looking for a long-term opportunity where they can take greater responsibility and continue progressing their career. The Role You will work as part of the project delivery team, taking responsibility for the mechanical elements of major building services projects from design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning and handover. Responsibilities will include: Managing and coordinating mechanical building services packages Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information Working closely with design, commercial and project teams Coordinating mechanical services with electrical, public health and other trades Managing specialist subcontractors and suppliers Monitoring installation quality and ensuring works are delivered to specification Resolving technical and coordination issues on site Attending project, design and coordination meetings Monitoring programme and progress of mechanical works Supporting procurement of mechanical equipment and packages ..... full job details .....
