Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a-Mechanical-Engineer-who wants to work in a diverse role-where no two days are the same.

As the-Mechanical-Engineer,-you will-provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The-Mechanical-Engineer,-will be responsible for:
- Provide support for all critical operational equipment required for steam generating operations on behalf of utilities infrastructure.
- Carry out daily operational checks of the CHP plant and record required information on the agreed format. Complete Planned, Preventive Maintenance tasks on the CHP steam generation plant.
- Provide a comprehensive engineering service to the Site.
- Carry out isolations to Company standards to enable the safe disconnection of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- To check, test, set and adjust mechanical equipment to the levels to their proven competence and electrical resets where applicable.
To be successful for this Mechanical-Engineer role you must have:
- Demonstratable evidence of technical qualifications in the relevant field (Preferably BOAS D6A).
- Evidence of previous experience working on Steam generating boiler plant.
- Knowledge of working on BMS systems. Confirmed space entry and escape trained.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
