This is a static, full-time position focused on maintaining and improving complex mechanical systems within a Grade I listed property. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preserving the building''s heritage while ensuring modern operational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair legacy heating systems, including steam boilers and associated infrastructureConduct routine and reactive maintenance on plumbing, boiler, and heating systemsDiagnose faults and implement effective solutions with minimal disruption to building operationsLiaise with contractors and heritage specialists to ensure compliance with listed building regulationsSupport energy efficiency initiatives while respecting the building''s historic integrityMaintain accurate records of work carried out and system performanceEssential Skills and ExperienceProven experience working with old heating systems, particularly steam boilersStrong background in plumbing and mechanical systems maintenanceFamiliarity with the challenges of working in listed or heritage buildingsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to ..... full job details .....
