Mechanical Engineer

We are working with an innovative engineering business based in Warwick, specialising in the design and manufacture of automated machinery for the pharmaceutical, medical device and FMCG industries.They are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their Project Delivery team and take ownership of mechanical engineering work packages across the full lifecycle of automation projects.This is a hands-on role where you will be involved from initial concept and feasibility through to detailed design, build, testing, installation and customer handover.The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical designs and supporting automation projects through to completion. Key responsibilities include:Developing full 3D CAD models, assemblies and detailed engineering drawings from concept through to manufacture.Producing pneumatic schematics and supporting design reviews and reverse-build activities.Contributing to feasibility studies, risk assessments and technical evaluations.Managing Bills of Materials (BoMs) and supporting RFQs, supplier selection and procurement.Working hands-on with engineering teams during build, testing and troubleshooting.Developing and executing test protocols, supporting root cause analysis and implementing design improvements.Producing technical documentation covering machine qualification, safety, compliance, operation, training and maintenance.Supporting DQ, FAT and SAT activities, including resolving test ..... full job details .....
