Mechanical Engineer

An exciting opportunity to join an established and growing engineering business is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the manufacturing of high-spec Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) systems and components. This is a hands-on role combining engineering, assembly, and problem-solving within a precision environment.

Salary: Up to -35,000
Location: UK (On-site) East Sussex
Full-Time | Permanent

Essential Requirements:

• You may be required to travel on short notice and for 3-4 days at a time. Please ensure they are happy to travel

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

• Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, assembly)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Desirable:

• Experience in manufacturing or precision engineering environments

• Knowledge of materials and processes used in UHV or high-spec applications

Additional Information:

• Occasional travel to client sites may be required as part of the role
