Mechanical Engineer

Position: Mechanical EngineerLocation: East LondonSalary: £47,000 per annum + OvertimeHours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmContract: Permanent, Full-Time A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their on-site engineering team at a commercial static site in East London. What you''ll do: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across mechanical building services systems. Maintain and fault-find on HVAC systems, pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, and general plant room equipment. Complete routine inspections, servicing, and repairs to ensure mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently. Respond to breakdowns and reactive maintenance requests, minimising disruption to site operations. Support minor works, system improvements, and general mechanical maintenance across the site. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety and compliance requirements. What you''ll bring: City and Guilds / NVQ qualification in a Mechanical discipline. Proven experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance. Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Good knowledge of HVAC and mechanical plant. A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to maintenance.
