Mechanical Engineer

PPM Recruitment are on the lookout for a Mechanical Engineer in the London, SW15 areaThe role is working within a hospital managing, maintaining, and repairing critical building services and physical infrastructure.Responsibilities:Maintain and inspect mechanical plant and equipment throughout the hospital.Work on heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, hot and cold-water systems, pumps, boilers and associated mechanical services.Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.Diagnose mechanical faults and undertake repairs where appropriate.Ensure engineering systems comply with relevant health and safety, statutory and healthcare requirements.Monitor contractors and specialist engineering service providers.Assist with engineering projects, refurbishment works and equipment upgrades.Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.Respond effectively to breakdowns and emergencies affecting critical hospital services.Work closely with clinical departments, Estates staff and external contractors.Participate in an on-call or emergency response rota where required.Must have mechanical backgroundMon to Fri - 40 hours a weekDBS required 24.00 per hourTo apply please email (url removed). ..... full job details .....
