You will receive hands-on training and mentorship while working with state-of-the-art measurement equipment and contributing to real-world engineering projects.Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer:Carry out dimensional inspection and measurement of components using a range of metrology equipment (e.g. CMMs, gauges, micrometers, calipers)Support calibration and verification of measurement systemsAssist in analysing measurement data and producing clear technical reportsWork closely with manufacturing, quality, and design teams to resolve measurement and tolerance issuesHelp maintain quality standards and continuous improvement initiativesAdhere to health, safety, and quality procedures at all timesThe successful Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the below experience:Degree qualified (or expected) in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Physics, or a related disciplineStrong interest in precision measurement and quality engineeringGood understanding of engineering drawings and GDandT (desirable, not essential)Analytical mindset with strong attention to detailConfident using Microsoft Excel and technical softwareGood communication skills ..... full job details .....
