Mechanical Engineer

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Industrial Mechanical Engineer on behalf of our client based in Harlow on a Permanent basis. Roles and Responsibilities Strip, inspect, repair and rebuild single and three-phase electric motors. Diagnose, repair and rebuild industrial pumps, including freshwater and sewage pumps. Repair and maintain industrial gearboxes. Strip, repair and rebuild industrial fans and blower units. Diagnose and repair a range of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. Carry out mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting. Carry out electrical fault-finding where required. Work with electrical controls and associated equipment. Test and inspect repaired equipment to ensure it is operating correctly. Manufacture, rebuild and repair components where required. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with company procedures. Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment. Complete work efficiently to meet production and customer requirements. Participate in overtime and call-out work when required, which is paid at premium rates. Experience, Skills and Qualifications Strong experience repairing and rebuilding industrial pumps and electric motors. Experience working with industrial fans, blowers, gearboxes and machinery. Good mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Previous experience with single and three-phase motors. Electrical engineering experience would be highly advantageous.
