Workshop Mechanical Engineer A well-established marine engineering and ship repair organisation is looking to recruit experienced Mechanical Engineers to join their skilled workforce at their Aberdeen shipyard facility. The Role Working within a busy dry dock and ship repair yard, the Mechanical Engineer will support mechanical maintenance, repair and installation work across a range of vessels and marine equipment. You will work closely with experienced engineering teams carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting and mechanical repair activities within the shipyard environment. Key Responsibilities: Carry out mechanical repair and maintenance work on vessels and marine equipment Support ship repair and overhaul projects within a dry dock environment Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation Assist with installation and replacement of mechanical components and systems Work safely within a heavy engineering and shipyard environment Collaborate with foremen, supervisors and wider engineering teams Requirements: Mechanical engineering or heavy engineering experience.
