This consultancy specialises in:Mechanical designElectrical design Sustainable designWith their people at the core of what they do, providing a great team culture and approach to diversity and their technical capacity to help them stand out amongst the crowds and have a lot of repeat clients.Your new role Deliver mechanical building services design across projects from concept through to construction and handoverPrepare calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings for HVAC, domestic water, drainage, and associated systemsUndertake mechanical design using industry software (e.g. IES, Hevacomp, AutoCAD/Revit)Coordinate designs with electrical, public health, structural and architectural teamsAttend design team meetings, client workshops, and site meetings as requiredRespond to technical queries during construction and assist with site inspectionsEnsure designs comply with current regulations, standards, and best practice (e.g. Building Regulations, CIBSE, British Standards)Continue professional development and actively work towards Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent)What you''ll need to succeed A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering3-5 years'' experience within a building services consultancy or contractor design environmentA solid understanding of mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, ..... full job details .....
