Mechanical EngineerNorthampton£38,000 - £42,500 We are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established facilities management team, working across a large commercial campus environment. This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to join an excellent facilities team and play a key role in keeping critical mechanical and building services systems operating safely and efficiently. About the Role As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across the site, carrying out fault finding, repairs and general mechanical building services maintenance. The role will involve working with a range of mechanical systems, including plumbing, heating, pumps, motors, belts and actuators, as well as carrying out water sampling. About You We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in commercial building services maintenance. You will ideally have: Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing or another relevant mechanical discipline. Strong fault-finding, maintenance, installation and inspection/testing experience. Previous experience carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance. Experience working within FM or building services across commercial properties. Good knowledge of commercial plumbing and heating systems. Experience with pumps, motors, belts and actuators. Experience with water sampling.
