      <description>Location: Livingston | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Contract | Mechanical Engineer - (Fixed Term Contract)    Medical Device    Livingston      Entrust Resource Solutions is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Engineer on behalf of a client within regulated manufacturing.     This hands-on role will focus on maintaining and improving production equipment, resolving mechanical faults and supporting engineering projects to improve reliability and reduce downtime.      The role:   Working closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams, you will:     Diagnose mechanical faults, identify root causes and implement effective solutions.   Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.   Support equipment installations, modifications and upgrades.   Troubleshoot systems including vacuum pumps, steam, compressed air and pneumatics.   Interpret technical drawings and maintain accurate engineering documentation.   Contribute to continuous improvement projects and support technical training for manufacturing employees.   Ensure all work meets relevant health, safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
