Applicants will have excellent mechanical engineering skills and ideally some basic electrical fault find and repair skills. The Role: Reporting to the Production manger the Shift Maintenance Engineer will be required to undertake planned and reactive maintenance activities on a wide range of plant, machinery and site facilities. Your duties will include but is not limited to the following; - Mechanical & electrical maintenance / repair of a wide range of machinery including conveyors, mixers, and much more - Maintenance and repair of hydraulic & pneumatic machinery - Electrical fault finding and repair control panels, motors, contactors, sensors, relays etc - Site facilities electrical maintenance Candidates: The Mechanical Engineer will be a competent engineer with good mechanical and basic electrical fault find and repair skills. Preferably you will hold formal mechanical or electrical engineering qualification e.g.NVQ level 3 or HND/HNC in electrical engineering.
