The successful candidate will be responsible for: Mechanical design of products. Managing all engineering activities related to mechanical products in our portfolio. Collaborating closely with existing staff to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Value-Adding Deliverables: Preferably with experience from the Automation and Instrumentation market. The Person to Fill the Vacancy Must Have: Using robust mechanical engineering principles, design safety critical equipment for the nuclear, defence and oil and gas industries. Design components for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA), working closely with machining, sheet-metal, casting, rubber moulding, welding, and assembly operations. Participate in formal design control activities: design reviews, risk assessments, failure analysis (FMEA - to reduce and solve problems), and configuration management. Experienced in developing 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings, maintaining fully traceable design documentation including BOMs, tolerance analyses, design specifications, test plans, ECRs, and records.
