Perform corrective and preventive mechanical maintenance
- Perform repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment
- Support the installation of new equipment
- Ensure all repairs are documented
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and neat work area
- Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly
- Participate in BOPEX (continuous improvement) program
- Comply with all procedures, regulation and policies applicable.
- Stop and report unsafe operations and use mandatory PPE as defined.
- Offer flexibility in working hours subject to business needs
Ideally we are looking for someone with :
- The successful candidate will have completed their NVQ Level 3 engineering apprenticeship mechanically bias.
- Ideally with experience working in heavy plant environment appx 5 years +
- Experience working on PLC and SCADA control system. Mitsubishi, Siemens, Rockwell and Fanuc.
- Work experience in a FMCG environment (food and beverage would be an advantage).
- Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing techniques is preferred.
- Food Hygiene certificate
- Clean driving license
