Mechanical Engineer - Hospital Maintenance (Steam & Pressure Systems)
-30 per hour | Start ASAP | Basic DBS Required

A leading mechanical and plumbing contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to work at Hospital near London Bridge. This is an ASAP start, initially for 3 months, with strong potential for ongoing work.
This role requires a strong background in steam and pressure systems, as well as experience working with industrial boilers, chilled water systems, AHUs, and HVAC systems. A thorough understanding of all listed systems is critical.

Hours: 8am-5pm (8 hours working, 1 hrs unpaid break)
Rate: -30 per hour

Duties will include:

• Maintenance and remedial works on steam and pressure systems
• Working on industrial boilers and associated plant
• Maintenance of chilled water systems
• AHU and HVAC system maintenance and fault finding
• General mechanical maintenance within a live hospital environment
• Pipework repairs, valve replacements, and system components servicing
• Ensuring compliance with site safety and hospital regulations

To be considered, you will need:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer working with steam, boilers, and pressure systems
• Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, AHUs, and HVAC systems
• Experience within hospital or critical environments preferred
• Valid Basic DBS (essential)
• Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
• Own tools and full PPE
• CSCS card preferred
