Mechanical Engineer - 2 - 2 - 3 Panama Shift rotations - 50,000 - Weekly Paid Tool Allowance 5 Days Week 1 Days 2 Days Week 2 Days 5 Days Week 1 Nights 2 Days Week 2 Nights Rotate Mechanical Bias Engineer to join a busy FMCG manufacturing operation, supporting the smooth running of production machinery and ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum. The role will involve a mix of planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown work, fault-finding on mechanical equipment and carrying out repairs to keep production running efficiently. Working closely with the production team, the engineer will play a key part in maintaining equipment reliability and ensuring day-to-day operations run safely and effectively. The successful candidate will have a solid mechanical maintenance background, ideally within FMCG or a similar fast-paced manufacturing environment, and must be confident with welding and fabrication. Duties will include repairing and modifying machinery, fabricating components, carrying out mechanical repairs and responding to breakdowns as they occur. This role would suit a hands-on engineer who enjoys working on the tools, can think on their feet and is comfortable working in a high-volume production environment where reliability and quick turnaround times are essential. ..... full job details .....
