Salary: -44k

Monday to Thursday 8am - 5.30pm

Friday 6am - 10am

Overview
Opportunity for a hands-on mechanical maintenance engineer to join a manufacturing site, supporting plant reliability through a mix of reactive, PPM delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault finding on hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, bearings and gearboxes
• Complete PPM activities and support plant installations
• Identify root causes and drive reliability improvements
• Work closely with production to minimise downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safe systems of work

• Time served Mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent
• Background in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience across mechanical drives, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Team-focused with a proactive approach
